Curt Montague Schilling is an erstwhile Major League Baseball Starting Pitcher. He started his career as a Major League player after being traded to Baltimore Orioles in 1988.

Early Life (Childhood)

Schilling was born in Anchorage located in the most sparsely populated U.S. State of Alaska. He graduated from Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix, Arizona. His pro career began as a player for an amateur baseball team, Elmira Pioneers.

Besides his sporting career Schilling was enthusiastic about getting involved in politics. In 2004, he campaigned for President Bush. He also raised donations for ALS patients and research.

Schilling was married to Shonda Schilling in 1992 and together they have four kids. On February 2014 it was revealed that he was diagnosed and battling with oral cancer.
