Morna Anne Murray CC ONS (born June 20, 1945) is a Canadian singer in pop, country, and adult contemporary music. She is also professionally called as Anne Murray.
Early Life (Childhood)Morna Anne Murray was born in the coal-mining town of Springhill, Nova Scotia. She was enrolled in Mount Saint Vincent University and University of New Brunswick in Fredericton.
Interesting FactsMurray is of Irish, Scottish, and French descent. She was Physical Education teacher before she began singing career. She also has a museum, Anne Murray Center.
Personal LifeMurray married Bill Langstroth, who is a music producer. Together they have two children - William and Dawn. They separated in 1997 and divorced year after. He died in May 2013.
