Nick Woodman was born on June 24, 1975 in Santa Clara County, California, United States. He is son of Dean Woodman, co-founder of the investment bank Robertson Stephens. In 1993, he graduated from the Menlo School. Later he joined University of California, San Diego and earned his B.A. degree in visual arts and a minor in creative writing in 1997.
