Gabriel Kaplan (born March 31, 1945) is an American actor, commentator, comedian and professional poker player. He is also a writer. He is known for his acting in Welcome Back, Kotter (1975), Lewis & Clark (1981) and Fast Break (1979).
Early Life (Childhood)Kaplan was born in Brooklyn, New York. When he was a boy, Kaplan want to be a Major League Baseball player. But rather he ended up his interest of being a baseball player and started to pursue other interests.
Interesting FactsIn 2007, Kaplan finished in ninth place in the $50,000 World Championship event, winning $131,424. His total live tournament winnings exceeded $1,300,000 by 2009. He still plays poker occasionally.
