Jani Lane (born February 1, 1964 – died August 11, 2011) was an American artist and the lead vocalist, frontman, lyricist and main songwriter for the glam metal band Warrant. His band experienced success from 1989–1996.

Early Life (Childhood)

Lane was born in Akron, Ohio. His birth name was John Kennedy Oswald. He was raised in east of Akron in Brimfield along with his brothers and sisters.

Interesting Facts

Lane as a mail man before he began his singing career. He was of Irish descent. He left Warrant to pursue his career in solo and released new solo album "Back Down to One".

Personal Life

Lane married model Bobbie Brown. They had a daughter, Taylar and they divorded in 1993. Lane married again actress Rowanne Brewer. They also had a daughter, Madison. He again married his wife,Kimberly Nash.
