Who is Yangpa

Yangpa (??) is a South- Korean Pop singer and lyricist who debuted in 1997 at the age of 17 with album Novice’s Love which became a hit for the network.

Early Life (Childhood)

Yangpa was born in Seoul, South Korea as Lee Eun Jin. Yangpa, which means 'onion' in Korean, is her stage name. She graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

Interesting Facts

Yangpa, one of the best female R&B artist. The kind of brass-heavy jazz becomes Yangpa's trademark style with flawless vocals. In mid 2000, Yangpa began to experience health problems, causing her to be on hiatus.

Personal Life

Yangpa debut at the age of 17. Althoug she was at teenage, her voice was mature enough to sing romantic songs and leave more than melancholy to all those who listen.


For Yangba talent, she was awarded Best Ballad Performer in 2007 and with lots of nomination including Best Female Artist or Artist of the Year, etc.
