Kelly Tilghman is a well known American broadcaster who professionally began anchoring in 2007 and is currently broadcasting The Golf Channel and is also prominent for being PGA tour telecast's first female main play-by-play golf announcer.

Early Life (Childhood)

Kelly was born in north Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States . She received her education from Duke University where she played college golf and got the inspiration to become a sports or golf announcer someday.

Interesting Facts

She is currently 45 years old but still looks good and in shape. She collaborated with lead analyst Nick Faldo to form the lead broadcasting team for the PGA tour.

Personal Life

Kelly's personal life details are not much known to the public due to her reluctance in talking about that subject matter. She has not been married till date and doesnot have any children and is not much seen in the public with men.


Kelly had earned a Duke University's scholarship to play for woman's golf team hosted by Furman University where she won the 1990's Lady Paladin Invitational . She has long since 2007 been a part of The Golf Channel and has done well.


There were controversies when she remarked about Tiger Woods by saying ' Lynch him in a back alley' . She was suspended for two weeks by The Golf channel for her comment because it was stated to be an insult to all blacks.
