Early Life (Childhood)Shenkman was born in New York City, the son of Katherine and Shepard A. Sheinkman. He graduated from Brown University, and obtained a Masters of Fine Arts in 1993 from New York University's and graduate the Acting Program at the Tisch School of the Arts.
