Antonella Del Core is an Italian professional volleyball player who plays for Italy women's national volleyball team. She has competed in the 2004 and 2012 Summer Olympics.

Early Life (Childhood)

Antonello was born and raised in Naples, Italy. She started playing club volleyball with Assid Ester Napoli in 1997 and has since played throughout Italy, Turkey, and Russia.

Interesting Facts

She was named Best Receiver for the 2010 CEV Champions League and Best Server in the Champions League in 2014. She won the Best Server award of the 2013–14 CEV Champions League and won the title with the Russian club Dinamo Kazan.

Personal Life

Thirty-five years old Core had married her husband Francesco Surace. She and Francesca Piccinini have played together on Italy's national team in 2014 World Championship.
