American television actress, Sarah Drew best known for her role as Dr. April Kepner on the series Grey's Anatomy and Hannah Rogers in The WB family drama series Everwood.

Early Life (Childhood)

She was born to Dr. Jeannie Drew and Rev. Charles Drew. Her mother is a teacher at an independent private school for girls in Manhattan, and her father is the senior pastor at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in New York City. She earned a degree in drama from University of Virginia's in 2002.

Interesting Facts

She started her career in high school, for being the voice artist of hit series Daria. She made her professional stage debut in 2001 as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey. Besides her hit series Everwood and Grey's Anatomy, she guest-starred in several other television series, Cold Case, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Medium, Castle, Glee, Privileged, Supernatural, and Private Practice. She is known as one of the highest paid television actresses. She has a whopping net worth of $3 million.

Personal Life

She started dating back Peter Lanfer, a lecturer at UCLA, in 1999. The couple dated for three years and married in June 2002. Their first child a son, Micah Emmanuel was born on January 18, 2012. The couple welcomed their second child, a daughter Hannah Mali Rose, on December 3, 2014. She is a devoted Christian.
